As one of the leading and distinguished clinical departments, the Department of Surgery aspires to achieve leadership and excellence by advancing academic standards and developing surgical skills in all their scientific, theoretical, and clinical dimensions. The Department is committed to enhancing scientific, medical, and research knowledge among all individuals engaged in study and training within the Department, with the aim of achieving local competitiveness and meeting international standards. Department Mission

The Department is dedicated to sustained effort and continuous development to achieve its primary objective of graduating a well-rounded veterinarian who is scientifically, practically, professionally, and ethically competent, with comprehensive knowledge of both general and specialized surgery. Graduates are expected to be capable of accurate diagnosis and delivery of high-quality surgical medical services, and to work effectively within an integrated team during their academic training and subsequent professional practice. This is achieved through the application of advanced educational and assessment systems.
