On Sunday, 14/02/2016 a workshop has been held to evaluate the performance of Benha University E-portal on Cloud Computing Environment at the University Council Hall with cooperation of Microsoft and Link companies. It is worth mentioning that Benha University is the first public university hosts the Cloud Computing Environment on its E-portal.

Benha University has received in the celebration of the Pathway to Higher Education Project on the occasion of its 12th anniversary since its launching. The celebration has been held at the faculty of engineering, Cairo University. It is worth mentioning that Benha University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Abdo Mahdy, the Coordinator of the Project and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Sayed, the Director of the Research Services Center.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, the Manager of Benha University Hospital said that the Hospital has been provided by modern equipment to serve the governorate of Qalyoubia and the governorates of Lower. He added that the Department of Reception and Emergency receives from 600 to 700 patients daily

In the frame of the fruitful cooperation between Benha University and Qalyoubia Governorate; Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President has assigned Dr. Yasser Sohail, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Dr. Mohamed El Sayed, the Director of the University Information Center and Research Services to start the proceeds of beautifying Mansheya New Tunnel in Benha.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of Benha University for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs has signed a mutual cooperation protocol with Mr. Medhat Gamal, the Manager of Wayfarer Program in Misr El Kheir Foundation to support and develop the University hostels. 

         The Japanese Ambassador in Cairo said that the education and training file is the top of the agenda during the visiting of the Republic President to Tokyo through next March. He also has announced for launching an educational initiative for training and qualifying the Egyptian youth during his visiting to Benha University in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and the University Vice-presidents.

      Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of Benha University for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs said that the University has organized Medical, Agricultural and Veterinary Convoys with cooperation of Kafr Shukr Council under the auspices of Dr. Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University.

      A delegation from Benha University under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President has visited Dr. Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia to congratulate him and the security bodies on the occasion of Police Day. 
    It is worth mention that the delegation included Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs.

     In the frame of its openness to the world, Benha University announces for its need to a manager for the International Cooperation Office from the University faculty staff provided that the applicant must be graduated from the European, British, and American universities and has a future vision for the Office activities in addition to international relations with foreign universities.

Under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University Council has approved to nominate Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamedin, the former President of Suez Canal University for the State Incentive Award for his position as one of the Engineering leading scientists.
