About Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition
The Department specializes in studying the nutritional requirements of various animal species, poultry, and fish, as well as the composition and specifications of feed ingredients and methods for formulating balanced rations. The “clinical” aspect focuses on the pivotal role of nutrition in disease prevention and treatment, and on understanding the interactions between diet and animal health to achieve maximum productive efficiency.
