Roles and Responsibilities of the Academic Advisor
1. Helping new students integrate into the university environment by encouraging participation in student activities.
2. Raising students’ awareness and providing essential information about academic regulations and study programs within the faculty.
3. Assisting students in selecting appropriate courses and informing them of graduation requirements.
4. Supporting outstanding and talented students by providing guidance that helps them continue to excel and make best use of their abilities.
5. Guiding students in ethical, psychological, and social matters that contribute to both academic and personal excellence.
6. Monitoring students’ academic progress throughout their studies and evaluating their performance.
7. Supporting academically struggling students and closely following up with them to improve their academic level.
8. Providing academic, social, and psychological support to students with special needs in accordance with their individual abilities and capacities.
