Vision The program aims to be an accredited and pioneering program to provide the labor market with a outstanding graduate specialized in biotechnology and laboratory chemical analyzes and can serve the community
Mission The Egyptian and Arab labor market needs a large proportion of graduates in veterinary medicine faculties to occupy jobs in hospitals as specialists for medical analysis and molecular biology laboratories. Therefore, this program is a new addition to the Faculty’s mission to graduate an outstanding graduate with high capabilities and skills in techno-biology and biological analysis through academic courses, scientific applications, and laboratory training in specialized laboratories in main hospitals.

About Program

The program awards a bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine "Biotechnology and Biological Analysis Excellence."

The program was established by the Ministerial Resolution No. 757 of 2/3/2020.

Graduation requirements: 190 credit hours.

Classrooms: 1 in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department + Faculty departments’ halls + Veterinary Teaching Hospital halls.

Lab rooms: 1 in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department + The Central Laboratory + departments laboratories + veterinary teaching hospital laboratories.

4-      Veterinary research institutes and veterinary departments in the National    Research Center and animal health research institutes.

9-      General Authority for Veterinary Services, which performs governmental and non-governmental services in various specialties.

11-   Faculty members in the faculties of veterinary medicine.

Joining and Registering Conditions

1.       Joining is allowed for those with a high school diploma (Science), or its equivalent, or transferred from the corresponding government faculties, according to the conditions set by the Supreme Council of Universities.

2.       The Faculty sets the general rules for admission so that the student’s desire and the principle of equal opportunities are the basis for accepting students into credit hour programs.

3.       Graduates of veterinary medicine faculties and graduates of the practical faculties (pharmacy - dentistry - medicine - agriculture - nursing - applied medical sciences - health sciences - sciences), having a bachelor's degree in the specialty from Egyptian universities or private and foreign universities approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, can be admitted. The graduate should study after making the necessary clearing and studying the human studies subjects.

4.       International students can join according to the conditions set by the Supreme Council of Universities.
