The faculty of medicine organizes, in cooperation with the directorate of youth and sport in Qulubia and the Nile organization for Media services, an awareness forum about addiction and drugs. This forum is conducted under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the minister of youth and sport, Colonel, Abdel Hamid EL-Hagan, Qulubia governor, Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community services and environment development and Prof.Dr. Mohamed EL-Ashab, the dean of the faculty of medicine. The forum is done in the presence of Prof.Dr. Nermin Adly, the faculty’ vice dean of community services and environment development, Prof.Dr. Ahmed EL-Habashy, the head of ophthalmology hospital, Prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Sabroot, the deputy minister of youth and sport in Qulubia, Ms. Samah Mohamed, the media official in the Nile Media organization, Ms. Rania Motaaz, the vice president of community services and environment development.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announces that Benha University advances in the international ranking of the Universities (CWUR). The University obtains the position of 1642 globally among 20,000 Universities in this ranking, so it advances by 81 positions. It’s noteworthy that the CWUR is a UAE-based pioneering consultation organization that provides consultation services in the fields of polices making, strategic visions and the consultation services to the governments and the Universities.

The participants of the second annual conference of the post-graduate studies in the field of applied sciences, which was held by the sector of post-graduate studies and scientific research in the University, announce the conference recommendations. It’s noteworthy that this conference is held under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the university president and it was conducted in the presence of Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies and scientific research, Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of education and students affairs, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, a number of the deans and the vice deans of the University’s faculties, the university’s general-secretary, the assistant-general secretaries, the faculties’ member and the researchers.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies announces that the university’s council, under the presidency of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, has approved to update the training programs of the faculties’ members who seek to get promoted as a part of the University’s policy to hone the faculties’ members’ skills and not to repeat the training programs over and over again. This shall begin from the academic year 2023-2024 as well as the training programs that will added by the supreme council of the Universities.

As the alumni office in Benha University is keen to help the University’s alumni to be fully equipped for the marketplace, the office announces that there will be a free of charge HR training course on Sunday, 9-4-2023 at 9 pm via Microsoft team’s platform. The lecturer is Mr. Ahemd Nagy EL-Dahkmesy, the HR specialist, the founder of HRG Egypt and the head of the HR department in Oden Company for financial investments.

Under the auspices of the University president Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, the innovation and entrepreneurship center invites the Egyptian Universities’ students to take part at the second innovation exhibition in Benha University entitled “Made in Egypt”. It’s noteworthy that this exhibition will be held on Sunday that corresponds to 21-5-2023 keeping in mind that the participants will submit their creations till Monday that corresponds to 15-5-2023.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announces the details of the visit to the investment zone in Benha. This visit is organized, as a part of the presidential initiative “check it out yourself” by the central administration of the youth care, the military education administration of the University, the leadership of the popular and military defense forces. It’s noteworthy that the investment zone is a great edifice that includes several industrial and logistic units.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president thanks the Egyptian Armed forces, in particular the engineering authority, for its exerted efforts to carry out the national big projects built in Qulubia governorate. He adds that this visit comes in accordance with several university- organized visits in cooperation with Colonel/ Mohamed Tharwat, the head of the military education administration as a part of the presidential initiative “check it out yourself” launched by his excellency Mr. President/ Abdel Fattah EL-Sisi to let the University students aware of the national big projects and the efforts conducted by the state to achieve the aims of Egypt vision 2030 of sustainable development.
