Benha University Students join President El Sisi in Opening a number of National Projects
Numbers of students from Benha University have been participated in the events of opening a number of new national projects by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
This participation has been come upon the recommendations of Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University , Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and in presence of Dr.Khalid Esawy ,the General Coordinator of Students Activities to prepare some students to attend the events of opening a number of housing projects under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. In the same context, El Gizawy confirmed the importance of introducing the great achievements and the national projects of the political leadership to the young and the University students.
Dr. Tamer Samir and Dr. Gamal Soussa inspect Benha University Hostels at Moshtohor
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Prof. Gamal Soussa, the Supervisor on Community Service Sector inspected Benha University hostels to be sure from standard of submitted services for students, so he checked out the hostel's restaurants and food stores.
During their tour, they were accompanied by Dr. Sayed Abd El Wanis, the deputy of Benha University hostel and other employees.
Benha University receives the Applicants for the Leadership Positions
The Leadership Selection Committee at Benha University has received applicants for the leaderships' positions in presence of Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Huda Sharawy , the former deputy for Benha University and Dr. Ashraf Shams El Din , the professor at faculty of Commerce .
The Committee has held its meeting today to conduct interviews with the employees applying for the supervision positions which are as following; Director General of the President's Office, Director General of the Councils Secretariat, Director General of Medical Affairs, Director General of Postgraduate Studies and Research, General Director of Special Accounts, General manager of administrative affairs, General Director of Legal Affairs and Director General of Public Relations and Media. The Committee listened to the proposals, ideas of job applicants, the way they manage the sectors they have applied for, their vision for development, the speed of completion work, and the ability to make decisions and solve problems. El Gizawy stressed that the selection of applicants for leadership positions is carried out through the committee and in accordance with the necessary criteria to select the most qualified and appropriate among them to occupy leadership positions at the university.

Benha University starts the Aptitude Tests for Its Faculties
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs said that the University has completed all the preparations necessary for conducting the aptitude tests for its faculties 2021/2022 for students holding secondary school certificate, its equivalent (Arab and foreign), and the technical certificates. He added that the faculties need aptitude tests are the faculties of physical education, specific education (art and music education departments), and applied arts It is worth mentioning that the aptitude tests will be started from August 7 to 19 according to the time plan of the Supreme Council of Universities.

By Cooperation with Egyptian Space Agency: Benha University opens the Second Summer School for Space Science
Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the acting President of Benha University has held a meeting to discuss opening date of the second Summer School for Space science which will be opened at Obour Campus with collaboration of the Egyptian Space Agency. The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs, Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs, Dr. Hazem Elewa, the acting manager of El Obour Branch, Dr.Amr Hanfy, the Coordinator of Benha University with Egyptian Space Agency, Dr. Mohamed Kassab, Dr.Wasim Essa and Dr. Ali Tag El Din.
In the same context; Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president said that the Summer School in the field of science and technology of space and satellite aims to spread knowledge of space science among Egyptian university students, to link their academic studies with practical reality. El Gizawy said also that the theoretical part of the summer school started via distance learning on the videoconference platform "Zoom" and the practical classes will start tomorrow at Obour Campus by dividing the applicants into six different training groups, and each trainee will be required to submit a practical project that will be evaluated by professionals in that field.
On the other hand, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs has said that 500 student from different faculties and institutes of Engineering all around Egypt have joined that school and he added that the theoretical part of study will start in July 2021 and the practical part will start in August and he hopes for all students best wishes and success.
Qalyoubia Governor discusses granting the Egyptian fellowship between Benha University and the Directorate of Health
Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor has held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University to discuss signing a cooperation protocol between Benha University and Directorate of Health to grant physicians the Egyptian Fellowship. The meeting has been held in presence of Dr.Hossam Hosny, the Secretary General of the Medical Fellowship Committee, Dr.Khalid Abdel Ghany, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia and the delegation of the Egyptian Fellowship.
El-Hagan said that the health sector in the governorate is currently witnessing a distinct shift in the submitted health service to citizens, pointing out that Qalyubia had a large share in the national project to develop 31 hospitals at the level of the Republic where five central hospitals at Qalyoubia governorate have been developed including the medical buildings and equipment to serve citizens.
For his part, Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy confirmed that Benha University possesses the financial and human capabilities in the medical sector and that allows Benha University to support the Egyptian fellowship project in all medical specialties with a high degree of efficiency and excellence. He also pointed out that the Faculty of Medicine includes more than 1,500 faculty members and assistants staff at various departments and he mentioned that Benha University Hospitals are now characterized by a very appropriate infrastructure that enjoys a high degree of satisfaction and acceptance of those hesitating to receive medical service.
In the Framework of Hayah Karima Initiative: Benha University continues launching Its Medical convoys for Shibin El Qanater Villages
The Community Service and Environment Development Sector has continued launching its medical convoys Shibin El Qanater in the framework of Hayah Karima Initiative and under auspices of Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University and Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs.
Dr. Gamal Sousa said that the university organized a medical convoy to the village of Kafr Shibin in cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Qalyubia, within the framework of the societal role that Benha University plays to serve citizens.For her part , Dr.Nermin Adly , the Faculty deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs , said that 300 physicians from Faculty of Medicine from various specialties and departments have participated at the medical convoy to serve citizens.
Benha University launches the New Course of International Publication and Citations Rewards, July 2021
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University announced about launching the new course of International Publication and Citations Rewards, July 2021 which will be started from Sunday, July 11, 2021 and lasts for two months.
He added that the papers accepted in this course are those that were published during the years 2020 and 2021, and have not been submitted during the previous courses and the number of citations will be calculated based on the last 5 years, according to the declared calculations of faculty member on Google Scholar; referring that anyone who has a Google Scholar account for paper that does not belong to him or who submitted research previously paid financial rewards for it in previous courses, will be blocked from the rewards of the University 's programs for researches support.
