Benha University Board under presidency of Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University and in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs honored Dr.Mahmoud Maghraby Iraqi , the Faculty of Agriculture dean for his great efforts during his deanship for the Faculty and hoped for him best wishes and great success 

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University announced that Benha University has issued a booklet in Arabic about E-portal activities and services and this is a part of a series of booklets that aim to documenting the University's activities and marketing its electronic services. El Gizawy added that E-portal of Benha University participated at providing many technological services for students and the teaching staff in an easy way. In addition, it is always developed in terms of design and content to keep up with the latest electronic portals.
Dr. Islam Sharawy , the Chief Information Officer (CIO) mentioned that Benha University E- Portal is the mirror that reflects the reality of Benha University to the world, the window through which it provides its electronic services, and the basic criterion for evaluation within the most important global rankings, so the University has given it a great attention and importance , supported it with useful content and applications service, enhanced it with a smartphone application, , secured its domains with an SSL certificate, and made it available for people with special needs.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Shady El Mashad, the Vice of Chief Information Officer said that Benha University E- portal is always seeking to develop its electronic services and keep up with the State's aspirations for digital transformation. Not only providing smart academic and administrative systems and services but also building an integrated database in cooperation with the University's information technology projects, in addition to consolidating foundations of using information technology and participating in reducing the digital divide in the University to reach an advanced position among universities.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University underscored the important role of Crisis and Disasters Management Unit during the last crisis of Corona Virus and he praised its great role in preserving our health and safety.
The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs, Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Rageh, the manager of Crisis and Disasters Management Unit, Dr. Khalid Esawy, the general coordinator of Students' Affairs and Abd El Qader Abd El Karim, the general coordinator of Quality Unit.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Nasser El Gizawy assured on implementing all precautionary measures at all faculties and sectors. In addition to preparing exams halls, controls rooms, maintaining sterilization gates , following -up of sterilization at all faculties , raising the state of readiness within the University hospitals and the University's medical administration in the light of the University precautionary measures to limit the spread of Corona Virus.

Benha University Hospitals have started Corona virus vaccination for its medical staff after receiving the first batch of the vaccine, in the light of the State's directives and it's care of all medical teams in hospitals.
This event was under auspices of Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University and Dr. Mustafa El Qady, The Faculty of Medicine dean and the Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors. On the other hand, Dr. Amr El Dakhakhny, the executive manager of Hospitals said that the first batch of vaccination was sent and all the medical staff and workers at the hospitals will be vaccinated the coming days.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Al -Saeed, Benha University President said that the Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics ) has announced its new ranking of 2021 indicating that Benha University has occupied the rank 948 where the University has achieved progress 133 comparing to its place 1117 according to July Ranking 2020.
Prof.Dr. Gamal Al -Saeed congratulated all the staff, employees and workers on the occasion of the new achievement and hopes more achievements and progress on the local and universal level. El Saeed also said that the new achievement is according to the new strategy of Benha University to improve its researches and researchers abilities.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that according to that ranking, the University has maintained its world place occupied in 2021 with improvement in its performance at the citation and teaching, as well as the international outlook comparing with the previous year.

Prof.Gamal Al Saeed , Benha University President has signed a joint cooperation protocol with Major General Doctor Fayez Muhammad Abaza, the Chairman of the National Company for Animal Production. The protocol has been signed in presence of Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs and Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs , Dr. Gamal Soussa , the General Supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs Sector and Prof.Dr. Mohamed Ghanim, the dean of Veterinary Medicine Faculty.
Prof. Gamal Al Saeed said that the protocol aims to achieve the sustainable development in the fields of animal production and veterinary care. Al-Saeed also indicated that the protocol includes cooperation in the fields of exchange of experiences and assistance in the fields of animal production projects and research services.

Dr. Khaled Abd El Ghaffar , Minister of Higher Education has appointed Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs as acting president of Benha University from Tuesday, 1212021 till appoint new president for Benha University . Prof.Gamal Al Saeed, the former president of Benha University congratulated Dr. Nasser El Gizawy for his new position and hoped for him best wishes and great success.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University received the student Mohamed Refaee, Benha University Student Union President and the student Hager Garwany , the Vice President of Student Union who visited him at his office to congratulate him for the new position of Acting President of Benha University
The visit was in presence of Dr. Khalid Essay , the general coordinator of students activities and Dr. Musbah Kohely , the general manager of Youth Welfare department .

The medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys in Kafr Al-Arab village continue their work for the second day in succession. The convoys are under auspices of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Khalid Abd El Ghaffar, minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President.
In his Speech, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs said that the University Education is very important to prepare graduates who have the ability to serve their community and he also assured on students participation at these convoys to get the required experience of community service and environment development.
