Prof.Dr.Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice President for Education and Students Affairs inspected faculties of Agriculture and Specific Education at the First day of the new academic year.
Prof.Dr.Tamer Samir was accompanied by Mr.Mohamed Ibrahim, the Faculty of Specific Education dean and Dr.Mahmoud Zabalwy, the acting dean of Agriculture Faculty. During his tour, Dr. Tamer Samir met students and congratulated them of the new academic year and encourages them to do their best at their study and participate at student activities and initiatives. He also said that Benha University has received 25.000 new students this year and thus students at Benha University this year have reached to 120.000 students. Dr. Tamer Samir confirmed on taking all precautionary measures and wearing masks, as well as following-up sterilization and disinfection work and observing social distancing measures among students.

Dr.Gamal Soussa, Benha University President inspected during his tours today faculties of Education and Specific Education. Benha University President was accompanied by Dr.Eman Abd El Haq , the Faculty of Education dean and Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim , the Faculty of Specific Education dean .
During his tour, Dr. Gamal Soussa confirmed that Benha University has completed all the necessary preparations of the new academic year. He also confirmed on taking all precautionary measures and wearing masks, as well as following-up sterilization and disinfection work and observing social distancing measures among students. He also met students and congratulated them of the new academic year and encourages them to do their best at their study and participate at student activities and initiatives.

The medical teams at Benha University have continued their work for the second day in succession to vaccinate Benha University students and staff to encounter Corona Virus. On the other hand, Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the Acting President of Benha University said that the medical teams have vaccinated 602 of its employees and students at faculty of Applied Arts and Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence. It's worth mentioning that Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs have inspected vaccination process at both faculties.

Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the Acting President of Benha University has confirmed on continuing vaccinating all the staff and student with Corona Virus Vaccine after vaccinating 6000 of its staff and students. Dr.Nasser El Gizawy has inspected faculty of Veterinary medicine and Agriculture where he was accompanied by Dr.Amany Abbas, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine dean and Dr.Mohamed El Zabalwy, the Acting dean of Agriculture Faculty and he pointed out that 20,000 doses of vaccine were received from the Ministry of Health where the medical teams were trained on vaccination procedures. He also added that the university pays great attention to vaccinate students and university employees before the start of the new academic year by providing all kinds of logistical support to the medical teams and to help them perform their tasks, as part of the plan to reach a safe and corona-free campus.

The Leadership Selection Committee at Benha University has received applicants for the leaderships' positions in presence of Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Huda Sharawy , the former deputy for Benha University and Dr. Ashraf Shams El Din , the professor at faculty of Commerce . The Committee has held its meeting today to conduct interviews with the employees applying for the supervision positions and the Committee listened to the proposals, ideas of job applicants, the way they manage the sectors they have applied for, their vision for development, the speed of completion work, and the ability to make decisions and solve problems. El Gizawy stressed that the selection of applicants for leadership positions is carried out through the committee and in accordance with the necessary criteria to select the most qualified and appropriate among them to occupy leadership positions at the university.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University , deputies of the University , deans of faculties and all the staff at Benha University mourn Haj Mahmoud Al-Arabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Group and a man of national industry and nicknamed Traders' Shah Bandar and they hope for him forgiveness and mercy.
On its statement, Benha University condolenced his family and Confirmed that the late was an honorable national model for Egyptian trade and industry men.

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University and Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs received the studentMahmoud Gamal Mohamed, the student at the 3rd year at Faculty of Physical Education after winning the first place the gold medal in the International Elite Championship of Muaythai in Iraq. Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy congratulated the player for that great achievement which raised name of Egypt and Benha University globally and mentioned that Benha University and its staff are proud of these models from the students of Benha University.
Dr. Tamer Samir also congratulated the player Mahmoud Gamal and he stressed that Benha University is keen to support outstanding students in all talents and encourage them to engage in student and sports activities.

Benha University leaders and staff mourned Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawy, one of the commanders of the glorious October War. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, on behalf of the university's vice presidents, deans of faculties, all academic and administrative leaders and the university family expressed his sincere condolences on the death of Field Marshal Tantawy, asking God Almighty to bless him with his mercy.
El Gizawy also confirmed that the national history of Field Marshal Tantawy as one of the leaders and heroes of our armed forces and the glorious October War .He also considered as one of the national symbols and the Egyptian people who will not forget because of his great history at the military life of Egypt history and his presidency of the Military Council, where he assumed responsibility in difficult circumstances and led the country towards safety.
