Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has launched activities of the First Annual Conference of Post Graduate Studies for Applied Science which was held by cooperation between Post Graduate Studies sector and The Board of Directors of Benha Journal of Applied Sciences. The Conferences is going to be held in the period from 7-8 of May, 2022 under auspices of Dr. Ali Shams El-Din, former president of Benha University and Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research , Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Maghraby Iraqi, supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and Dr. Samir Hammad, Deputy Governor of Qalyubia, a number of college deans, and Dr. Ghada Amer, Faculty of Engineering Deputy for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs. In his Speech, Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President stressed that the Egyptian state, with its various academic and research institutions, is keen to adopt the concept of innovation and creativity and encourage scientific research. He also added that Benha University is committed to its role in the society and seeks to achieve the University Vision and mission in developing and solving problems of its society , providing a stimulating environment for teaching, learning and scientific research and maximizing partnership with the local and regional community and linking its strategic and research plan to the state's strategic objectives and Egypt's Vision 2030, in a way that serves the national economy, national projects, and the state's policy towards sustainable development. For his part , Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research confirmed that the conference will discuss four main points as following : Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Engineering and Technological Sciences, Clinical and Health Medical Sciences and Basic Sciences. He also mentioned that 80 scientific researches will participate in the conference. El Gizawy pointed out that the conference aims to build the capacities of young researchers and graduate students in order to achieve the University's vision, mission and strategic objectives. He added that the conference also comes within the framework of the University's Postgraduate studies and research sector's keenness to integrate scientific research with industry by establishing technology incubators that invest in the outputs of scientific research and provide an appropriate environment for scientific research.

Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has launched Student Research Exhibition for the first year at the Great Hall of Commerce Faculty . The Exhibition has been held in presence of Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr.Sohair Sharaway, the Former Vice President, Dr. Samy Ghonemy, the Faculty of commerce dean and Dr. Khalid Esawy , the general coordinator of students activities . For his part, Dr.Gamal Sosa mentioned that the Exhibition aims to raise the level of its students' projects to entrepreneurship and to apply ideas of distinguished student projects among the academic community at the University and the industrial and business men in Qalyubia Governorate. In his speech, Dr.Gamal Sosa mentioned that Benha University seeks to establish the Gifted Care Center that it aims to discover the talented and provide a stimulating environment for them within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, to care of talented.

Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President inspects the New Buildings of the University at El Obour Campus. He followed up the percentage of completion in the buildings. He also thanked the project's consultants and engineers for quality, commitment to the schedule and confirmed on quality of implementation and the necessary equipment according to the approved specifications. Benha University participated in the activities of the first forum for officials of the Universities Youth Parliament, which was held under auspices of Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University, and Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected Benha University hostels at Shoubra to be sure from standard of submitted services for students, so he checked out the hostel' s restaurants and food stores.
It is worth mentioning that, the sudden tour was done according to instruction of Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University president to provide a distinguished service of high quality to students residing in university hostels. Dr. Gamal Sosa , Benha University President said that Benha University has finished all the preparation for the second semester exams that is scheduled to be launched during the current month of May, according to the time map set by the Supreme Council of Universities.
The meeting was held in presence of Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Ibrahim Rajeh, Director of the Crisis and Disasters Unit and others. Dr. Tamer Samir explained that all precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of students and provide them with comfort, whether inside their Faculties or University hostels, in addition to emphasizing the attendance of observers and faculty members during exams, as well as raising the state of emergency in the medical administration and clinics at faculties and he confirmed on the presence of all medical staff and the provision of medicines and first aid to meet any emergency cases during exams.

The Leadership Selection Committee in Benha University has held interviews today to the applicants for the University leadership positions which include the following positions; the general manager of administrative security and the general manager of accounts and budget.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University announced raising the state of readiness for the second semester exams at all faculties.
The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs, Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Rageh, the manager of Crisis and Disasters Management Unit, Dr. Khalid Esawy, the general coordinator of Students ' Affairs and Abd El Qader Abd El Karim, the general coordinator of Quality Unit. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Nasser El Gizawy assured on implementing all precautionary measures at all faculties and sectors. In addition to preparing exams halls, controls rooms, maintaining sterilization gates , following -up of sterilization at all faculties , raising the state of readiness within the University hospitals and the University 's medical administration in the light of the University precautionary measures to limit the spread of Corona Virus. Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir also mentioned that students at high density faculties have been divided into 3 stages to reduce number of students at exams committees and thus, limiting the spread of Corona Virus.

Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President witnessed the celebrations of Benha University Hospitals on the occasion of the International Nursing Day. The celebration has been held in presence of ; Dr. Mohamed El Ashhab , the Faculty of medicine dean , Dr.Marwa Mustafa , the Faculty of Nursing dean , Dr. Amr El-Dakhakhny, Executive Director of University Hospitals ,Military Adviser to Qalyubia Governorate , faculty of Nursing deputies and professors . He also added that the martyrs of nursing staff during the pandemic and their sacrifice in order to relieve patients and preserve the public health of citizens won' be forgotten and it will remain a luminous sign in our modern history. Dr.Gamal Sosa also thanked the nursing staff at Benha University hospitals for their distinguished role in operations and treatment, the great services that serve the patient, in addition to the humanitarian role of the nursing staff, as they are an essential pillar for the continued success of the medical system and he also stressed his complete and continuous support to them to reach to the best professional level. On the other hand, Dr. Mohamed El Ashhab, the Faculty of Medicine dean said that Nursing is a noble and humanitarian profession that aims to save humans and they also contribute to relieving patients' pain, especially during the Corona virus epidemic, so they played a vital role in saving patients and providing psychological and moral support for them.

Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President inaugurated the Specialized Medical Clinics at El-Obour Campus in presence of Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Dr.Hazem Elewa , the acting manager of El-Obour Campus.
Benha University President and his companions inspected the medical clinics, equipment, various departments and laboratories attached to them; he also praised the equipment of the new clinics. Dr.Gamal Sosa mentioned that these clinics aim to provide medical services to all the University employees, students, faculty members and the surrounding community. During the visit, Dr.Gamal Sosa listened to Dr.Sherief El Mahdy, the director of the Medical affairs at the University and Dr.Sahar El Mahdy, the Director of the Dental Center in the Medical Administration. For his part, Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President thanked EngineerMohamed Hamed Sherief, The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Obour City, for his donation of a dental unit to the University.
