           Dr\ Amr Tallat , minister of Telecommunication and Information technology witnessed activities of the organized workshop by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) at the smart village. The workshop was held in presence of Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Dr\ Hala Helmy Zayed , Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence dean . The workshop was under the title of "The 5th Generation opportunities and Challenges" and it discussed the way to apply the digital services in Egypt according to the governmental plan to improve the submitted services to citizens. NTI Institute plays important role in submitting the required training to 5000 trainers at the end of 2021 and raising citizens' awareness about using digital services and its importance nowadays.

       Dr \ Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President issued a new decree to appoint Dr\ Mahammed Mokhattar Mahammed as the deputy of Education and Students Affairs at Faculty of Science  , Dr\ Mona Mahmoud Zaza was appointed as the deputy of Community Service and Environment Affairs at Faculty of Education , Dr\ Ahmed El Maghawry was appointed as the deputy of Education and Students Affairs at Faculty of Physical Education, Khalid Saeed Ibrahim was appointed as the deputy of Community services and Environment Affairs at Faculty of Physical Education and Dr\ Mustafa El Gahrib was appointed as the acting deputy of Post Graduate Studies at faculty of Arts  .El Saeed hopes for them best wishes and great success at their new positions.

             Prof.Dr\ Khalid Abd El Ghaffar , minister of High Education and Scientific Research issued a new decree to appoint four general managers at Benha University as following ; Mahammed Sayed Mahammed as the secretary of Faculty of Law for one year , Soliman Ahmed Soliman as the General manager for Planning at the University for one year , Soliman Abdu Abd El Naby as the General manager for Education Affairs at the University and Ayman Bayoumy Mahammad as the general manager of purchases and stores for one year.                                                                                                         

    Dr\ Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President received Dr\ Nasser El Shimy , Professor of Geometrics at University of Calegary Alberta in Canada. The meeting was held in presence of Prof.Dr\ Nasser El Gezawy , the Supervisor on Cultural and International relations at The University , Dr \ Karim El Dalsah , the Academic Manager of El Obour Branch and Dr\ Amr Hanfy . El Saeed assured that Benha University seeks to keep in touch with Egyptian scientists at foreign Universities to benefit from their great experience at all fields and that is among the University vision to be opened on all the world Universities. El Saeed also mentioned that the meeting with Dr\ Nasser El Shimy comes according to the submitted nomination for him to work as a visitor professor at Survey Department at faculty of Engineering.

         Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President announced that Benha University has achieved a new achievement at the World University Rankings to be among the best 500 University on the World according to the Times Ranking 2020.   Prof.Dr\ Gamal El Saeed congratulated all the staff, employees and workers on the occasion of the new achievement and hopes more achievements and progress on the local and universal level. El Saeed also said that the new achievement is according to the new strategy of Benha University to improve its researches and researchers abilities.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology "MCIT" announced for "Future Work is Digital" Initiative which aims to train the young Egyptians on the fields of Developed Information Technology in one of the following disciplines: (Website development, data analysis, and digital marketing). It is worth mentioning that the Initiative is one of the strategic initiatives of "MCIT" powered by Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) with collaboration of Udacity to achieve Egypt's digital vision and building the abilities of the Egyptian human. Benha University is participating in the Annual Forum of the University Alliance of the Silk Road "UASR" Presidents, as Member of the Executive Office of the Alliance, which hosted online by Xi'an Jiaotong University - China and Politecnico di Milano - Italy in the duration from November23 to 27, 2020 and with participation of 60 universities from all over the world who are members of the Alliance.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University is represented by Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs on behalf of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - the University President.
In this regard, El Gizawy said that the Forum will discuss during its holding days many important topics, including the mission of universities and their role in community security, how the Corona epidemic effects on the future of universities, the security of natural systems, the economic and social impact of natural disasters including the effects of epidemics and climate changes, in addition to the security of cyberspace and its relationship with protect privacy, security for the public health, and Coronavirus prevention.

The E-learning Center, Benha University has launched, under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - the University President, the platform of Distance Learning Management System "LMS" in the frame of the University's policy for digital transformation, raising and improving the technological capabilities of teaching and learning processes.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the LMS works on Moodle providing learning opportunity for all the University students in an appropriate educational environment which enabling all students to communicate with the teaching staff applying the hybrid education system, which depends on the combination of face-to-face and distance learning.

it is worth mention that the students and teaching staff can get their accounts to enter the platform by contacting the technological services units at the faculties or the coordinators of e-learning at the scientific departments.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President has approved to open the applying for the new course of International Publication and Citations Rewards, July 2020 which will be started from Tuesday, August 04, 2020 for one month He added that the papers accepted in this course are those that were published during the years 2019 and 2020, and have not been submitted during the previous courses and the number of citations will be calculated based on the last 5 years, according to the declared calculations of faculty member on Google Scholar; referring that anyone who has a Google Scholar account for paper that does not belong to him or who submitted research previously paid financial rewards for it in previous courses, will be blocked from the rewards of the University 's programs for researches support.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the University got 14 Followships and 5 scholarships in addition to one joint supervision mission within the eighth 5 years plan of missions 2017-2022 by the competitive system between the applicants, adding that the delegation countries varied between America, Germany, Canada, Japan and Italy, confirming that scholarships included faculty members and researchers from the faculties of veterinary medicine, science, agriculture, arts, engineering in Benha, and commerce.
