    Dr\ Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President received Dr\ Nasser El Shimy , Professor of Geometrics at University of Calegary Alberta in Canada. The meeting was held in presence of Prof.Dr\ Nasser El Gezawy , the Supervisor on Cultural and International relations at The University , Dr \ Karim El Dalsah , the Academic Manager of El Obour Branch and Dr\ Amr Hanfy . El Saeed assured that Benha University seeks to keep in touch with Egyptian scientists at foreign Universities to benefit from their great experience at all fields and that is among the University vision to be opened on all the world Universities. El Saeed also mentioned that the meeting with Dr\ Nasser El Shimy comes according to the submitted nomination for him to work as a visitor professor at Survey Department at faculty of Engineering.

         Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President announced that Benha University has achieved a new achievement at the World University Rankings to be among the best 500 University on the World according to the Times Ranking 2020.   Prof.Dr\ Gamal El Saeed congratulated all the staff, employees and workers on the occasion of the new achievement and hopes more achievements and progress on the local and universal level. El Saeed also said that the new achievement is according to the new strategy of Benha University to improve its researches and researchers abilities.

BU participates in the Virtual Forum of AAU

Under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - Benha University President "BU", the University participated in the Virtual Forum for the African Higher Education Institutions which held by the Association of African Universities "AAU" at Alazher University.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, BU Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that BU was represented by Prof. Ahmed Youssef, the Director of the International Students Unit and Prof. Mahran El Naggar, the Director of the International Relations Office.
El Gizawy added that AAU is the voice of higher education in Africa and the Forum is considered an opportunity for consultation, exchange of information and cooperation between higher education institutions in Africa. He also said that the Forum aims to provide the opportunity for African higher education institutions to communicate and acquaintance by introducing each institution to itself in order to enhance cooperation between African higher education institutions and achieve the development for the African continent.

Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University "BU" President said that 14 scientists from BU have got 7 ranks in various scientific fields according to the list of Stanford University for World's Top 2% Scientists.
In this regard, El Saeed congratulated the University's scientists named in the World's Top 2% Scientists' List wishing more success for them during their careers.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, BU Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the appearance of some BU scientists in this international report is a significant achievement for the researchers of BU, as it indicates the quality of their research outputs, referring that the report depends on the Scopus database of Elsevier, which published recently in the PLOS Biology and classified into 22 scientific disciplines and 176 sub- disciplines.
