Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president hosts the delegation of Upper Egypt development authority in the Cabinet under the presidency of prof.Dr. Mustafa Khalil, the chancellor of the animal production authority head. BU president meets him on the sidelines of his visit to the faculty of agriculture. This meeting is conducted in the presence of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Zabalaway, the dean of the faculty of agriculture and prof.Dr. Ehab Farid, the vice dean of community service and environment development in the faculty. BU president stresses that this visit comes in accordance of reinforcing the cooperation possibilities between the university and Upper Egypt development authority in the diverse fields in the light of Egypt’s sustainable development/ Egypt’s vision 2030.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president pays a sudden tour to inspect the skills and the medical mimesis center, the talented and creative people center and the faculty and leadership development center. He is accompanied by prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of education and students’ center, prof.Dr. Rasha Shaker, the vice dean of the faculty of medicine for the education and students’ affairs, prof.Dr. Ashraf EL-Mashhad, the head of the skills and medical mimesis center and prof.Dr. Mona Nasser, the head of the talented and creative people center.

Under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development inaugurates the charitable clothes exhibition in the faculty of education. This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Eman Abdel EL-Haq, the former dean of the faculty of education, prof.Dr. Mona Zaza3, the faculty’s vice dean of the community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Gamal Soliman, the faculty’s vice dean of post-graduate studies and Ms. Rania Motaz, the assistant secretary-general of community service and environment development.  

In accordance with launching BU award of governmental excellence as a part of the second round of launching the inner-based awards for the governmental entities in cooperation with the ministry of planning and economic development and the supreme council of the Universities, BU president announces the beginning of the field visits to the qualifying faculties of BU award of governmental excellence starting from Sunday, 26-2-2023 to Thursday, 2-3-2023. It’s noteworthy that the final list of the faculties will be announced on Thursday, 23-2-2023.

BU president presides over the annual meeting of management control of the comprehensive system of quality assurance, safety and professional healthcare. This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizawy, prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, prof.Dr. Abdel Kader Abdel Karim, Ms. Shreen Shawky, prof.Dr. Saad Mahmoud Saad, prof.Dr. Ibrahim Rageh, prof.Dr. Fatma Abdel Wahab, prof.Dr. Sayed Abdel Waynes, prof.Dr. Mohamed Sibel, the assistant general secretaries and the general managers of the University’s departments

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announces that the students’ of the University have won 3 golden medals, 2 silver models and 7 bronze models in the Universities competition. This competition is held at Cairo University in cooperation with the Egyptian sport Union of the universities as there are 24 Universities and 251 males and female students.

BU president congratulates the wining students stressing that the University is keen to encourage its students to practice sport activities and socialize with the other Universities students in order to be able to work for their communities and homeland.  

The quality assurance department for safety and professional healthcare issues two manual guides so as to provide a safe workplace for the employees and reinforce the concept of safety in the workplaces to save lives and preserve the general properties.

BU president stresses that these two manual guides comes in accordance with the University’s endeavor to get this accreditation:

ISO 9001-2015,ISO 45001-2018

These two manual guides are handed over to the University’s employees in all departments, the University hostels, the head premises of the university’s libraries and the cars’ maintenance administration

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president holds a meeting with the supervising committee to keep an eye on the preparations of the students’ activities top University in the academic year 2021/2022.

This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of the students and educational affairs and the head of the committee, prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the general coordinator of the university’s students’ activities, the committee members, and the youth care department employees and the students’ union officials.

This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Mohamed Abu Salem, the general supervisor of the leadership development center, prof.Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the vice official of the general supervisor of the center and Mr. Rifat Nan, the assistant general-secretary of the administrative affairs. It’s noteworthy that the activities of the leadership development program is held in the leadership development center from 6-2-2-2023 to 11-2-2023 and it includes several meetings and workshops

BU announces the names of the candidates for the university election to choose the University representative of non-faculties’ members in the employees’ enhancement fund. It’s noteworthy that these elections will be held on Wednesday, 15-2-2023. The candidates are the following:
