Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Dr. Ashraf Hatem, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities in addition to some presidents of Egyptian universities have participated in the events of the Ministries of Higher Education Forum in London.

      Dr. Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students’ Affairs have inspected the Surgery Building at the University Hospital in addition to the Department Reception and Emergency after its renewing by providing the latest therapeutic devices.

     The Board of Benha University Hostels has discussed under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students’ Affairs the plan of the University Hostels for launching the quality and excellence in the work under the frame of the University strategic plan 2016/2022.

      A delegation from Benha University under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President has visited Dr. Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia to congratulate him and the security bodies on the occasion of Police Day. 
    It is worth mention that the delegation included Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs.

        Nowadays, Benha University is celebrating with the 10th anniversary of its independence from Zagazig University and the 100th anniversary of its establishment as the first educational agricultural institution, so the Middle East News Agency “MENA” held an interview with Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President who has a major role in the University development.

     Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Rajeh, the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Medicine; and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, the Director of the University Hospital have met General/ Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia to make a medical convoys for the poorest villages of medical services upon the recommendations of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President.

     In the frame of its openness to the world, Benha University announces for its need to a manager for the International Cooperation Office from the University faculty staff provided that the applicant must be graduated from the European, British, and American universities and has a future vision for the Office activities in addition to international relations with foreign universities.

       Benha University congratulates Prof. Dr. Sameh Mohamed Abdel Wahid Nada for his new position as a Dean for the Faculty of Engineering in Benha wishing all success for him in his new position.

Information Technology Unit at the Faculty announces about ICDL courses at the Unit. The courses are accredited by the Supreme Council f Universities. On the other hand the Unit announces that the course is free for both students and the Faculty employees.
