Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has opened Furniture Design Gallery for Faculty of Applied Arts Students' .
The Gallery has been organized by Faculty of Applied Arts and in presence of Dr. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Abd El Moamen Shams El Din , the Faculty of Applied Arts dean , Dr. Khalid Esawy , the general coordinator for Students' activities , professors and students of Interior design and furniture department . During his visit to the gallery, Dr. Jamal Sosa stressed the importance of benefiting from student works in the community service sector and adopting students' ideas and benefiting from them by making catalogs of various designs and presenting them for marketing. Sosa also pointed out that Benha University is keen on developing students' skills and adopting their creativity, praising the gallery and the works presented by students to maximize benefit from them, especially in furniture factories in Egypt, and to preserve the intellectual property rights of Benha University.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected during his tour today the second semester exams at Faculty of Applied Arts.
During his tour, Dr. Tamer Samir was accompanied by Dr. Abd El Moamen Shams El Din, the Faculty of Applied Arts dean. Dr. Tamer Samir inspected the implemented precautionary measures at the Faculty to protect students and employees during exams process such as checking students' temperature, keeping suitable spaces among students and wearing masks and he also assured on implementing all of the other precautionary measures to counter the spread of Corona virus. He also said that Benha University is keen on providing a safe environment and a suitable psychological atmosphere for students during exams, especially in light of the current circumstances and facing the Corona pandemic

Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President inspected the aptitude tests at the Faculty of Applied Arts yesterday in the presence of Dr. Abdel Moamen Shams, the Faculty Dean; Ms. Samia Abdel Hameed, the University Secretary General; and Mr. Refaat Nan, the University Assistant Secretary General for Administrative Affairs During his tour, the University President reassured that all the preventive and precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the students during the conducting of the aptitude tests El Saeed said that the University has completed all the preparations necessary for conducting the aptitude tests 2020/2021 for students holding secondary school certificate, its equivalent (Arab and foreign), and the technical certificates according to the time plan of the Supreme Council of Universities

        Eng. Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia has assigned Prof. Dr. Yasser Sohail, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, Benha University to design the new memorial which will be built in front of Benha Sports Club instead of the old memorial which will be demolished in the frame of developing the Capital of the Governorate.
