Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president starts his official visit to the united Arab of Emirates to attend the Arab Universities conference in Dubai. The university president asserts that the issue of developing education has been discussed with the officials of the El-Ein University in addition to discussing the students exchange among the universities. The university president announces the recommendations of the first education forum that is held in Benha University in last November. 

According to the bulletin of the committee of the university library which was held in 17-5-2016 to choose the best library in Benha University. The winner will be awarded by taking 5000 l.E, The runner up will be awarded by taking 3000 l.E and the third place will be awarded by taking 2000 l.E. the visit will be in 19-3-2017.

In the frame of openness policy and Arab cooperation of Benha university, prof.Dr. Muhammad Abu Salim, the faculty’s dean participates in the Arab meeting of the veterinary medicine deans. In this meeting, many issues were discussed such as the international accreditation of the faculties, the cooperation with the Arab and European faculties, the updates of the field, and the Curriculums. This meeting was attended by the deans of the faculty of veterinary medicine in Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, UAE and the Sudan under the supervision of the world health organization (WHO).

      Prof. Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president decides to hold a monthly cultural saloon in Benha University. The university president urges the student activities officials to ask students about the cultural figures they nominee to be in this saloon that will be held at the conferences hall. Such saloons aim at maintaining the link with the students to know their opinions of what is happening in Egypt in different apparatuses. 

     Benha University congratulates Prof.Dr. Ghazy Mohamed RatibAssassa, the Emeritus professor at the faculty of engineering at Shubra on being the university president's chancellor of the international relationships for one year wishing him great success in his new position. 

      Benha University congratulates Prof.Dr. Khalid Hasan Eisawi, the lecturer of mathematics department at the faculty of engineering in Shubra on being the General Coordinator of the student activities and initiatives for one year wishing him great success in his new position. 

Benha University congratulates Prof.Dr. Alaa EL-Sayed Ahmed Amin, the professor of the analytical chemistry at the faculty of science on being the Executive Manager of the higher education projects development Unit for one year wishing him great success in his new position. 

The University council approves that there is a cooperation protocol between Benha University and Rennes University. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law at Benha University signs the protocol with Prof. Dr. Julian budu, the dean of the faculty of law at the University of Rennes during his visit to France. The protocol sets forth that curriculums should be classified into two parts: the parts that will be taught using the French language and the parts that will be taught using Arabic language. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law indicates that this protocol will be put into action in Mars, 2017 when the president of the University of Rennes meets the president of the University of Benha to initiate the academic year 2017/2018.
