The Department of Animal Medicine is one of the most important departments at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, as it contains the subjects of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases which taught by a group of professors and faculty members got doctorate degrees from the United States, Japan, and Germany. The department teaches internal and infectious diseases of ruminants, horses, camels and pets. The faculty members participate in field training for students and in training courses at training centers in different governorates.
